Kuroshio Sea – 2nd largest aquarium tank in the world

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta; I was amazed by the diversity of marine life they had. Included sharks, sting rays, beluga whales and various jellyfish.

Flickrssp (Flickr + Flash)

Flickrssp is a php script developed by Brian Sweeting to use the Flickr API with Todd Dominey’s Slideshowpro Flash extension.
I have been messing around with this combination for quite sometime now and it works beautifully when modified right. As you can see here. I am pulling in all my flickr public photosets into a customizable [...]

External USB Drive asking for drivers?

I recently bought a Western Digital 320GB USB drive to use as a backup for my pictures, videos and games. Had been working pretty well until Monday; after restarting my PC, Windows Vista asked to insert a driver CD for my WD hard drive. Didn’t make any sense since this is a USB drive, tried [...]

Map a Car to an OS

During my visit to the auto repair shop yesterday, I noticed some of the cars in the lot from a 1992 VW Golf to the legendary 1963 Chevy Impala. Reminded me of a post on Viget’s blog about Cars and Operating systems. Geeks that like their computers or gadgets and express some personality via their [...]

iPod Touch Jailbreaking

I have had my iPod touch for about two months now and I must say it’s exactly what I thought it would be. The obvious iPod functions; music, movies, podcasts and audiobooks are all boosted with its wifi ability.
For the last month or so, I have pondered on whether I should jailbreak the touch, [...]

After about six months of waiting; I have finally launched the new design for my virtual playground. Most inspired by LINE and COLOR I played around till I came up with this simple and I think elegant scheme.
It all started with a theme by design disease that was closest to my mockup, from there on [...]
