You can check by going to <strong>Settings</strong> -> <strong>Safari</strong> and check to see if <strong>JavaScript is set to on</strong>. Jailbreaking is basically a hack that allows users to gain access to the entire iPod/iPhone Unix filesystem allowing a user to install any kind of third party application they desire. If done right, it wouldn't ruin your iPod/iPhine. Incase of a problem, you can reset your iPod/iPhone. @Marian the iPod touch has JavaScript enabled by default.
